Three fifths of Brits believe the recent heatwave was linked to climate change
A recent study revealed that three fifths of Brits (60%) believe that the recent heatwave in the UK, and across the world, was linked to climate change. This rises to over two thirds (68%) among 18-34 year olds compared to 55% of those aged 55+.
In light of this,†57% of Brits believe that the UK is already experiencing the effects of climate change.†
Seven in ten (72%) UK adults expressed concern about global warming, however less than a quarter (23%) feel that senior politicians should discuss climate change more, with health (33%) and immigration (28%) taking the top spots for voting concerns.†
