Like them we have been proven wrong by the election results and like most of them we are diligently analysing the data from our polls, and the results of the re-contact survey we conducted to measure how respondents’ voting intention was followed through on the day, to determine why our figures weren’t completely accurate.
We welcome the decision by the British Polling Council to conduct an independent inquiry into why the polls failed to predict the outcome and look forward to making our contribution.

So the team here are now going to spend the next few days and weeks working out the reason for these differences. We will make sure to report our conclusions and continue to improve our methods.
