The Conservatives have gained two points while Labour have lost an equal amount, putting the Tories ahead for the first time in nearly three years.

35% would vote Conservative if an election were held tomorrow, followed by 33% for Labour, 15% for UKIP, 7% for the Greens and 6% for the Liberal Democrats.

Approval ratings

Prime Minister David Cameron has broken even with a net approval rating of 0%, the highest score since his EU veto at the end of 2011.

Labour leader Ed Miliband remains far behind with -28%, ahead of Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg on -44% but behind UKIP leader Nigel Farage on -24%.
