The last poll, conducted last week, gave the Remain campaign a knife-edge lead of 2 points, suggesting that there has been some sift to the Leave camp in some of the later stages of the Referendum campaign.The fieldwork was conducted between the 14th and the 17th of June, but a large proportion of the fieldwork would have been completed before the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox had become widely known.Only the younger generation strongly support RemainThe differences between the age groups has been apparent for many months, but in the latest poll only the 18-34 age group have given the Remain camp a clear lead.The worry for the Remain camp is that the shift in favour of Leave could continue, with 81% of those intending to vote Leave saying they are certain to vote this way, compared to 77% of Remainers. This small difference could be very important in such a close race as this.Opinium Research carried out an online survey of 2,006 UK adults aged 18+ from 14th to 17th June 2016. Results have been weighted to nationally representative criteria.
